Reports broke out last night who introduced American businessman Chris Kirchner not only as a party interested in taking over in County Derby, but also as a frontrunner.

Kirchner, 34, is an American businessman who made his fortune in the world of global logistics.

His company, Slync.io, has ties to several sports including golf, the NHL and Formula 1 and it now looks like he could break into the world of football (or football as he might call it) with a potential takeover of Pride Park.

Reports named him as an interested party last night before The Sun’s Alan Nixon edged him out as a favorite among several other interested parties.

It got many Derby County fans talking online, and many took to Kirchner’s Twitter profile where he had a series of posts for those enthusiastic Rams fans.

Earlier this month, Derby County administrators issued a series of nondisclosure agreements to some serious bidders as part of the takeover process. Kirchner is among those who received an NDA:

Kirchner’s enthusiasm, youth and entrepreneurial spirit made Derby County fans optimistic about his potential takeover.

There have been no such reports of his personal wealth online, although Nixon tweeted last night that “those close to” Kirchner claim he is a billionaire.

But Kirchner clarified this by tweeting:

But Kirchner has at least £ 100million in ‘proof of liquidity’ – double what Nixon revealed (Sunday 24.10.21) club administrators would ask potential buyers to make a starting bid for the club, and more than the club declared debts.

Additionally, Kirchner was confirmed to be present at Pride Park during the Derby County draw against Luton Town last week and he is expected to be present at Pride Park this weekend when Wayne Rooney’s side host Blackburn Rovers:

Kirchner continued:

Everything seems positive about Kirchner’s potential takeover by Pride Park. He’s obviously still in the early stages, but he appears to be the only interested party to have used social media in the way he has, not only to confirm his interest but also to speak to supporters in the county. from Derby.

Although they have been bitten in the past. Both Sheikh Khaled and Erik Alonso’s offers looked promising at one point, but something about Kirchner seems legitimate.

It will be hard for fans not to get carried away by Kirchner’s potential takeover, but it’s an exciting update on the Derby COunty situation.
