This account is intended for small savings and one cannot keep large sums of money in it. Its unique for its minimal paperwork requirement.

Terms

a) The sum of all credits in a fiscal year should not exceed INR one lakh.

b) The total of all withdrawals and transfers in a month does not exceed INR 10,000.

c) The balance should not exceed fifty thousand INR.

If the above conditions are not met, the account holder will need to provide additional documents for the completion of KYC; otherwise the bank will be entitled to close the account.

d) There are no maintenance costs.

13. Indus Easy Savings Account

This account is more or less the same as a small savings account. Little documentation including KYC is required.
